Occupational Health Information Center

The Occupational Health Information Center is an educational and research information facility organized under the systematic cooperation of the Library, Audiovisual Education Center and Department of E-Campus for the purpose of acquiring the maximum possible educational and research results.

Library

Library

The university library has the total area of 2,480 m2, and includes various types of audiovisual reference observation systems in addition to the reading room.
This library has a planned collection of references in the form of books, journals, audiovisual and electronic media necessary for education and research as well as healthcare activities of the university.
As for library services, the library maintains a website which makes it possible to freely search for references available in the library from within or outside the university. Furthermore, "MEDLINE", "Medical Magazine Web", and "Electronic Journal" have been introduced for users' convenience in searching for information in medical fields. The library also has a special section for displaying reference materials and newly-arrived materials related to occupational health, and is operating a database of the research results of the faculty members of this university. In this way, the library is making efforts to collect and distribute occupational health related information.

Information Systems Department

The purpose of the Information Systems Department is to support the academic mission of our university through the appropriate use of information technology.
Toward this end it will:
Advise faculty members and students on issues of computing and information technology;
Advise on policies,procedures,and atandards for information technology;
Work to develop and keep the network systems and the educational and research information facilities;

Audiovisual Education Center

The Audiovisual Education Center provides TV relay broadcasting for clinical training in operating rooms, TV monitoring of operation technique under endoscope or microscope, and also conducts video recording and editing for producing video teaching materials. The center also provides technical support in audiovisual education through digitizing video teaching materials and in utilization of multimedia.
