  The primary concern of the Department of Work Systems and Health is not only to elucidate the mechanisms of disease, concentrating on detailed examination of the process involved, resulted from inadequate work condetions, but also to offer an effective method for improving work systems by analyzing environmental and human factors leading to disease. The primary objective of the laboratory is to do research and to educate using comprehensive viewpoints pertinent to the architecture of human's lifetime work and health.

 

 

(1)Epidemiological research on exposure and juman health effects of particulate matters, chemical substances.

(2)Research and evaluation for promoting new personal protective equipment (Power Air Purifying Respirators)

(3)Research on organizational Occupational Health Service Systems including industrial Personal Health Record system.

(4)Research and development for countermeasures to recent work style and overwork.

(5)Development of system and tools for education and traning of occupational health professionals.

(6)How to provide occupational health services to dispersed work branches. 

 

  In addition to above, WSH organizes collaboration and study on current OHS issues with registered occupational health physicians and professionals, especially the graduates of the Residency Program in Occupational Health.
