2018 [17th] Contribution to the Japanese version of IHMOD 2.0 (Posted on Nov. 7, 2018)

<Contribution to the Japanese version of IHMOD 2.0>

The training course from Prof. Daniel Drolet at the University of Montréal (DSEST) in May as a start, Prof. Kunio Hara, Department of Occupational Safety and Health Management with Drs. Shinpei Yamada and Shinobu Yamamoto contributed to translate IHMOD 2.0 into Japanese. IHMOD 2.0 is an advanced Excel file containing models to estimate the concentration of hazardous chemical substances in the air at work places.

IHMOD 2.0 consists of eleven different models, and it assists occupational hygienists or occupational health professionals to estimate, using a Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) approach, the concentration of hazardous chemical substances in the air at work places. This is provided free of charge by AIHA (American Industrial Hygiene Association). You can find more information from the links below.
