2023 [4th] MOU was signed with Samitivej Hospital, Thailand (posted on Feb. 21, 2023)

On February 9, President Yutaka Otsuji and Assoc. Prof. Tomohiro Ishimaru visited Samitivej Hospital in Thailand to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the purpose of alliance on health professionals exchange training. The signing ceremony was solemnly and grandly held in the presence of Ambassador Kazuya Nashida of the Embassy of Japan in Thailand, Counsellor Kurita (Medical Officer in charge of Asia and Pacific Region), and other guests.

Prior to the signing ceremony, the participants visited Samitivej Hospital Sukhumvit and Samitivej Hospital Sriracha, including the Japanese Medical Center, where a total of 130,000 Japanese patients are seen annually, as well as Japanese-only ward and the Occupational Medicine Center within the hospital.

We are scheduled to accept 2 doctors and 2 nurses from Samitivej Hospital Group for a 10-day training program in May 2023.
