Award

We have Travel Awards to support attendance and presentations by young foreign researchers.

Travel award recipients receive JPY 100,000. To receive the award the recipient must attend the entire conference (the conference registration fee is not exempt). Undergraduate, graduate and postdoc may apply. Travel award recipients are required to present a poster.

Please remind that the application must include:
(1) the abstract of the poster to be presented, (2) a personal statement (brief, one page description of goals in neuroendocrinology) and (3) a supporting letter from the applicant's advisor, program director or chair which includes a description of the role the applicant played in the research he or she will present.

To help us process the applications efficiently please include the "applicant name" and "the application section" on each page (e.g. Smith, Joe: Goals). One combined PDF file of all application materials is also preferred.

All materials should be submitted in a single e-mail sent to the WCNH 2009 office (wcnh2009@mbox.med.uoeh-u.ac.jp) "For Travel Award" should be put in the mail title.

Applicants must also submit the same abstract online using our abstract form (See http://www.wcnh2009.jp/abst/index.html for details).
