2014 [9th] UOEH welcomed Prof. Jorma Rantanen from the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (Delivered on Oct. 15, 2014) 

Prof. Jorma Rantanen, the Director General Emeritus of the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (FIOH) visited UOEH on Monday, September 1, 2014. Between the Institute of Industrial Ecological Sciences (IIES), UOEH and FIOH, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is in effect since August, 2003.

President Toshiaki Higashi and Prof. Ken Takahashi, Director of International center as well as Dr. Nagata and Dr. Wilson hosted Prof. Rantanen and exchanged ideas on occupational health and the future collaborations.

2014 [10th] Medical Education Exchange Program with Wonkwang University (Delivered on Oct. 20, 2014)

<Medical Education Exchange Program with Wonkwang University>

We welcomed Dr. Dae-Won Kim, Dr. Cheol Lee and 6 students from Wonkwang University, Korea. The university has a partnership with UOEH based on the agreement signed in 2010, for the Medical Education Exchange Program. The students from Wonkwang University were here for two weeks from September 16th to 26th, 2014.

On Tuesday, September 16th, Dr. Dae-Won Kim, Dr. Cheol Lee and 6 students attended the opening ceremony and orientation. President Higashi and other faculty/staff of UOEH welcomed them including a welcome reception in the evening.

The students said they are satisfied with the 2 weeks clinical training and other activities outside of school with UOEH students. They left for Korea on September 27th.
