Mr. Hideo Ozawa, Standing Director, Prof. Yasunori Hiro, Department of Mental Health and Research Associate Li Yunshan, Department of Environmental Oncology, attended the 14th Conference on Labor Health and Occupational Disease hosted by the National Institute of Occupational Health and Poison Control, Chinese Center for Disease Control, in Harbin, China from August 18 to 19, 2016.
Approximately 600 participants were there to listen to Prof. Hiro's lecture entitled "Mental Health Situation of Japanese Workers and the Efforts by the Government". They were invited to the conference based on our MOU with NIOHP signed in April, 2016.

2016 [12th] Participation to the Radiation Health Sciences Workshop hosted by ADNOC (Posted on Sept. 16)
＜Participation to the Radiation Health Sciences Workshop hosted by ADNOC＞
Prof. Ryuji Okazaki, Department of Radiological Health Science gave lectures at the Radiation Health Sciences Workshop hosted by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) from September 4 to 6, 2016. This is the second workshop he participated since the last one in December, 2015.
Health care workers at ADNOC attended the lectures and participated in the workshops. Prof. Okazaki gave lectures entitled "Occupational Health in Nuclear Disaster"and "Radiation Risk Management for Nuclear Workers", and implemented an exercise for Radiation Emergency Medicine with other experts from Japan. There was a workshop of Emergency Radiation Decontamination using mobile trailers among other workshops. Participants were keen to learn, and had a lively discussion.
