on
January
28,
2016
with
our
Vietnamese
colleagues
from
Ministry
of
Health
(MOH)
,
National
Institute
of
Occupational
and
Environmental
Health
(NIOEH),
Hanoi
Medical
University
and
Hanoi
School
of
Public
Health.
Following
the
opening
remarks
from
Mr.
Chikahiro
Masuda,
Senior
Representative
of
JICA
Vietnam
and
Dr.
Luong
Mai-Anh,
Deputy
Director
of
Health
Environment
Management
Agency
of
MOH,
four
lectures
from
UOEH
and
one
from
WHO
were
shared
with
the
Vietnamese
colleagues
at
the
Vietnam-Japan
Human
Resources
Cooperation
Center
(VJCC) in
Hanoi
through
a
teleconference
system.
Active
participation
and
discussion
were
seen
throughout
the
seminar.
UOEH
has
a
history
of
hosting
the
JICA
international
training
course
for
28
years
between
1985
and
2012,
with
276
trainees
from
57
countries
in
total. Having
gained
a
wealth
of
experience
over
the
years,
we
are
always
looking
forward
to futher
opportunities
to
cooperate
with
our
counterparts around
the
world.

2016 [2nd] Debriefing Session -Cooperation with China- (Posted on Feb. 24, 2016)
<Debriefing Session -Cooperation with China- was held>
International Center hosted a debriefing session -Cooperation with China- 13.30-15.30 on February 23. Mr. Hideo Ozawa, Standing Director of UOEH and Prof. Susumu Ueno, Department of Occupational Toxicology, shared their experiences as a long and short term experts of JICA occupational health project in China. Both sessions described the occupational health system in China and its characteristics as well as the cooperation project with Japan, based on their on-site experiences.
