Prof. Nakata, Vice Director of the International Center participated in the 8th Meeting of the International Centers of All Medical Schools in Japan which was held at Kawagoe Clinic at Saitama Medical University. While there were presentations, symposium and poster presentations as well as discussions regarding themes such as hosting international students and how to deal with infectious deseases when we send/host students, the participants discussed about the roles and fucntions of International Centers of Medical Schools.

Fifteen members of Medical Committee, Social Security Office, Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Thailand visited UOEH on October 11th. Following the courtesy visit to President Higashi, they participated in a tour at the Institute of Industrial Ecological Sciences and a meeting with UOEH faculty members. Apart from UOEH, they visited Rosai Hospitals and other institutions in the field of Occupational Health in order to learn about Japanese Occupational Health systems as well as prevention measures.

2017 [13th] Medical Education Exchange Program 2017 with Kosin University (Posted on Oct. 31, 2017)

Based on the agreement regarding the Medical Education Exchange Program signed in 2011, we welcomed four students from Kosin University, Korea from October 1st to 14th.
Following an opening ceremony and a welcome reception on October 1st, the Korean students participated in the clinical training at the UOEH hospital with UOEH students for two weeks.
