2018 [13th] Addendum was signed with DDC, Thailand

<Addendum was signed with DDC, Thailand> 

A delegation from the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand headed by Dr. Chantana Padungtod, Director of Bureau of Occupational and Environmental Diseases visited UOEH on August 30 and 31. The purporse of the visit was to sign the Addendum which aims at implementing faculty/students exchange program. The Addendum was concluded based on our MOU signed in July in 2016.

As DDC, Thailand is also one of the WHO Collaborating Centres in Occupational Health, the faculty members of the Institute of Industrial Ecological Sciences (IIES) discussed about possible collaborative activities with the delegation. They also participated in department visits at IIES and a tour at Kyushu Occupational Health Center.

2018 [14th] Medical Education Exchange Program 2018 with Wonkwang University (Posted on Sep. 18, 2018) 

<Medical Education Exchange Program 2018 with Wonkwang University>

Based on the agreement regarding the Medical Education Exchange Program signed in 2010, we welcomed four faculty members and six medical students from Wonkwang University, Korea from September 2nd to 15th.

Following an opening ceremony and a welcome reception, the Korean students participated in the clinical training at the UOEH hospital with UOEH students for two weeks. Students of both Wonkwang University and UOEH had fruitful time together.

2018 [15th] Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand visited IIES (Posted on Sep. 28, 2018) 

<Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand visited IIES>

Four members from Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand headed by Dr. Chalalai Hanchenlaksh, Dean of the Institute of Public Health visited the Institute of Industrial Ecological Sciences on Thursday, September 20th. Prof. Morimoto, Director of the Institute of Industrial Ecological Sciences introduced the function and activities of the institute, and the delegation visited several departments to deepen their understanding toward institute's research activities.
