＜Entrance ceremony for the graduate students of Asia International Occupational Health Program＞

The entrance ceremony for two graduate students from Vietnam and China under the Asia International Occupational Health Program was held on April 4. President Higashi, Prof. Tanaka, Dean of Graduate School of Medical Science hosted the ceremony and welcomed them with other international students.

 "Asia International Occupational Health Program" aims at

 -Training international students with Japanese students to be an internationally successful researcher

 -Improving quality of research activities under high competitive environment

 -Building a future research network for the international collaboration in the field of Occupational Health

This is the 12th year since we accepted the first group of students under this program in 2007.

2019 [8th] Medical Education Exchange Program 2019 (Posted on May 27, 2019)

<Medical Education Exchange Program 2019>

UOEH sent nineteen medical students who are in their sixth year to the universities in Korea, Taiwan and Thailand from May 12th to 26th as the Medical Education Exchange Program 2019 based on the MOU with each university. Students greatly appreciate this opportunity including the program and the hospitality kindly provided by each university.

2019 [9th] Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand visited UOEH (Posted on Jun. 18, 2019)

<Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand visited UOEH> 

Eight-member delegation from the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand headed by Dr. Suwannachai Wattanayingcharoenchai, Director-General of DDC visited UOEH on June 13, 2019. The purpose of the visit was to discuss about possible collaboration activities based on the Memorandum of Understanding and Addendum signed respectively in July, 2016 and in September, 2019, as well as to visit a health check center in Japan. DDC and UOEH introduced current activities to each other, and had a discussion about collaboration activities. Following the tour at UOEH, the delegation visited Kyushu Occupational Health Center.
