UOEH hosted twelve members from three institutions of Thailand (Department of Disease Control and Prevention, Ministry of Public Health / Faculty of Public Health, Thammasat University / Nopparat Rajathanee Hospital) and held a training course in Occupational Health from October 8th to 19th, 2019. This training was implemented based on the MOU with each instutution and UOEH. During the training course, participants attended lectures and visited several companies.

2019 [14th] Medical Education Exchange Program 2019 with Kosin University (Posted on Oct. 29, 2019)

<Medical Education Exchange Program 2019 with Kosin University>

Based on the agreement regarding the Medical Education Exchange Program signed in 2011, we welcomed four undergraduate students from Kosin University, Korea from September 28 to October 26. Following an opening ceremony and a welcome reception, the students joined a four-week clinical training program at the UOEH hospital together with UOEH undergraduate students.

2019 [15th] Medical Education Exchange Program 2019 with Wonkwang University (Posted on Nov. 6, 2019)

＜Medical Education Exchange Program 2019 with Wonkwang University＞

Based on the agreement regarding the Medical Education Exchange Program signed in 2010, we welcomed six undergraduate students from Wonkwang University, Korea from October 20 to November 2. Following an opening ceremony and a welcome reception, the students joined a two-week clinical training program at the UOEH hospital together with UOEH undergraduate students.

2019 [16th] Visit to Faculty of Public Health, Thammasat University, Thailand (Posted on Nov. 6, 2019)

<Visit to Faculty of Public Health, Thammasat University, Thailand>

From September 29 to October 1, Prof. Yoshihisa Fujino, Department of Environmental Epidemiology, Prof. Kunio Hara and Dr. Hiroyuki Kuraoka, Department of Occupational Safety and Health Management, and Dr. Tomohisa Ishimaru from Nishinihon Occupational Health Service Center, visited the Faculty of Public Health (FPH), Thammasat University, Thailand. The delegation had a meeting regarding their joint research with six faculty members of FPH headed by Dr. Sasitorn Taptagaporn, Dean of FPH. Following the meeting, they also participated in a campus tour. This is the first joint research activity with Thammasat University since the conclusion of Memorandum of Understanding in April, 2018.
