On February 21, six attendees (Four Koreans, one Thai and one Japanese) of 11th Japan Korea Participatory Action Oriented Training Workshop in Occupational Safety and Health organized by a research group headed by Prof. Kunio Hara, Department of Occupational Safety and Health Management paid a courtesy visit to President Toshiaki Higashi. This workshop was held at UOEH from February 21 to 22, and approximately 30 participants attended to the workshop. One Thai participant was from Faculty of Public Health, Thammasat univeristy with which we have an MOU for collaborations.

2020 [8th] Entrance ceremony for the graduate student of Asia International Occupational Health Program (Posted on April 10, 2020)

The entrance ceremony for one graduate student from Vietnam under the Asia International Occupational Health Program was held on April 7. President Yutaka Otsuji and Prof. Yoshiya Tanaka, Dean of Graduate School of Medical Science welcomed her and hosted the ceremony.

 "Asia International Occupational Health Program" aims at

 -Training international students with Japanese students to be an internationally successful researcher

 -Improving quality of research activities under high competitive environment

 -Building a future research network for the international collaboration in the field of Occupational Health

This is the 13th year since we accepted the first group of students under this program in 2007.
