2022 [14th] Online teleconference seminar 2022: International Environmental and Occupational Health Program (Posted on Dec.9 2022)
From September 6 to December 6, this year’s teleconference seminar: International Environmental and Occupational Health Program was held online.
UOEH participated in 14 lectures through this year’s series of teleconference seminar while connecting with 4 other international sites: National Taiwan University (main site), Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Khon Kaen University (Thailand) and Singapore National University during each session. Lecturers from each site provided lectures primarily on occupational and environmental health from international perspectives.

2022 [15th] MOU was signed with University of Indonesia (posted on Dec. 13, 2022)
A delegation from University of Indonesia, headed by Prof. Muchtaruddin Mansyur, Head of Occupational Medicine Specialist (Postgraduate) Program, Dr. Dewi Yunia Fitriani, Head of Occupational & Environmental Health Research Cluster, and Dr. Anung Sugihantono, Public Health Policy Scientist at Occupational & Environmental Health Cluster, Faculty of Medicine visited UOEH for the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between University of Indonesia and UOEH.
Based on this MOU, we plan to implement exchange programs between faculty members and graduate students, as well as to share information and build cooperative relationships in the field of occupational medicine and occupational health.They also participated in a campus tour at Institute of Industrial Ecological Sciences (IIES).

2022 [16th] The 2nd UI-NRH-UOEH Joint Interesting Occupational Medicine Regular Forum (Posted on Dec.21, 2022)
On December 19, the second UI-NRH-UOEH Joint Interesting Occupational Medicine Regular Forum was held by 3 institutions, University of Indonesia (UI), Nopalat Rajatanee Hospital (NRH), Thailand and UOEH, Japan which have signed MOU.
The purpose of this forum is to provide occupational medicine residents from each facility with an opportunity to present and discuss their work in English and to understand each other's occupational medicine legal systems and practices in the three countries.
The forum consists of presentations by occupational medicine residents from the host country and discussions among occupational medicine residents from the 3 institutions. UOEH participated in from this 2nd forum after signing an MOU with UI in December.
After opening remarks by President Yutaka Otsuji and Prof. Susumu Ueno, Director of the Institute of Industrial and Ecological Sciences, a presentation on "Noise induced hearing loss "Commonly founded but not easy to manage'" was given by an occupational medicine resident at NRH, the host of the forum, followed by a lively discussion among the residents.
The forum was very meaningful, with over 100 participants from the 3 institutions in total.
The next forum will be held in March 23, 2023, hosted by the UOEH, Japan.
