日韓中産業保健学術会議

概要　Overview

　日韓中産業衛生・安全学術会議（The Japan-Korea-China Conference on Occupational Health and Safety）は、東アジアの主要3ヶ国である日本、韓国、中国の産業保健分野における学術的・実践的な知識交流を通じて、各国及び地域全体の産業保健の発展に貢献するとともに、3ヶ国間の永続的な友好を育むことを目的として毎年開催されています。
　3ヶ国間における産業保健制度や活動の様態には、それぞれの産業構造や国内の特殊な事情に起因する、多くの相違点が存在します。しかしながら、一方で労働者の作業関連疾患、有害物質への曝露を伴う作業環境の管理、複雑化する労働条件、不安定な雇用環境といった、喫緊に取り組むべき共通の課題を幅広く抱えており、それゆえに、これらの共通課題に対する理解の深化、適切な評価手法、そして効果的な対策をいかに講じるかといった点において、 3ヶ国間には確かな共通認識があり、課題解決に向けた議論の余地もともに山積しています。
　歴史的、地理的に密接な関係にある東アジアの3ヶ国において、産業保健分野の最前線で活動する研究者、産業保健専門職および産業衛生分野の専門家が定期的に一堂に会して議論を深めることは、参加者それぞれの産業保健活動および研究水準の持続的な向上にとって極めて重要な意義を持ちます。
　このような高い重要性と使命に基づき、本会議は3ヶ国が持ち回りで主催する形式を維持しながら継続されており、世界的な新型コロナウイルス感染症の蔓延という未曾有の事態による中断・延期を挟みつつも、2025年をもって32回を数えています。
　なお、会議名称は、一般名称として本学術会議を示す場合には「日韓中産業衛生・安全学術会議」と称し、3年に1度の日本側ホスト開催の大会名では開催国の順（日本→中国→韓国→日本…）に記載し、回数表記を冠につけて表記することとしました（例：「第33回　日中韓産業衛生・安全学術会議」）。

 The Japan-Korea-China Conference on Occupational Health and Safety is an annual international conference that aims to contribute to the advancement of occupational health within each nation and the wider region by  facilitating the exchange of academic and practical knowledge exchange in this field. The conference also aims to foster lasting amity among the three major East Asian countries: Japan, South Korea, and China.
 There are significant differences exist in the structures and practices of occupational health systems across these three nations, largely due to their different industrial configurations and domestic circumstances. Nevertheless, these countries face many pressing common challenges, including work-related disorders among employees, managing working environments involving exposure to hazardous substances, the complex working conditions, and employment instability. Consequently, there is considerable common ground and ample scope for discussion concerning how to deepen the understanding of these shared issues, establish appropriate evaluation methodologies, and effectively formulate countermeasures.
 It is of paramount importance for the sustained elevation of occupational health practice and research standards for all participants that  researchers, occupational health professionals, and industrial hygienists actively working on the front lines of occupational health in these three historically and geographically interconnected East Asian countries gather regularly  to engage in in-depth discussion.
 Based on this high level of importance and clear mission, the conference has been consistently sustained through a rotational hosting arrangement among the three countries. Despite interruptions and postponements caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference has reached its 32nd iteration by 2025.
